I'm sure all of you have had to endure some form of education at one point or another. I have alot to say about the system; many complaints, many criticisms, and many regrets. I haven't been in college for very long, but the little whispered mantra that followed me throughout highschool has simply escalated to a full out scream in my head: there has GOT to be a better way of doing this.

Anyways, check out this speech if you're interested. If anything else, the speaker is very compelling and entertaining!

Oh yes, it has certainly been a while. Alas, I am not posting about my life. I am posting about something much more important.

HOLY SHIT. Ok, so there are obvious criticisms in relation to the original comic, but it's basically the best movie ever.


I'm going to work out and order vinyl or latex pronto. No one can stop me from cosplaying that skank whore laurie.

So, I sewed the legs onto my plugsuit yesterday, and walked around wearing it for like an hour. I wish I had done that like, a week ago, then there would be SOME chance of getting it done for Katsu. I don't know what the hell I'm going to end up wearing to the con in the end. Sis and I might fix up last exile (AGAIN) and get some photos in them, I might be able to get Lucy and Nana done...who knows. We will be wearing Miki and Kozue for sure!

HAHAAAA long story short, I suck. Expect some progress pictures sometime soon though.

I am having the most amazing conversation on AIM right now, with this person who is basically me but a guy.

I swear I'm not a narcissist.

Thank you to all who commented on my last post! I am most definytely taking your advice and experiences to heart :]

That said, I might as well tell y'all crazy ass mofo's about T-MODE. Seriously, like best con ever.

Friday: Soooo, amelia and I get picked up from school by her boyfriend, max (in his YELLOW, volkswagon, BEETLE [bee]), and head on over to his house, where we would get payed to clean his basement. Might I add at this point, that both of us were severely broke (actually in debt because we had used some of max's money to but The Watchmen [which is yellow and black. BEES.]), and desperately needed about $60 if we wanted to attend said convention, whose host hotel stood a mere 10 minute walk from his house.

So, we clean his basement, it was disgusting. We found dirty tighty whiteys from when he was like 8 and aoodles of arid noodles from ancient china (aka. under his sofa). His mom gives us $40---ok, not enough to legitimately attend T-mode, but whatever, we're not complaining. Anyways, we drive off to the Hyatt Regency in Crystal City. Alright, so the convention actually WASN'T at that hotel, but whatever. So we get lost trying to find the fucking Hilton. It's all in good fun. Anyways, we pull up to the con, park, run on in and meet our friend Nick (nick12345), and moments later meet up with our bro Cory, who says, "HAY TWINS YALLZ BE VOLUNTEERING K?" So we sign up for volunteer work, get our AWESOME ORANGE VESTS, and then run up to our free hotel room to get loopy (somewhere along the way we run into Tarisa, Natalie, Maggie, Derek, Bunny, and Alex, quite possibly the most epic people ever <3). Amelia and I patrolled around for a while getting our volunteer hours, I was forced to watch deathnote at some haneous interval, and then there was the band: GIEST. These guys rocked, hardcore. Seriously, these guys pulled off J-Rock so well, and hell, I don't even like J-Rock, but it was awesome. I was kind of looney and crunking around the whole time (I hurt my neck headbanging). Eventually I went back up to the room, changed out of Tarisa's Reika costume and ran it on over to her room (across the hallway, quite a workout). After that I think I ingested some more evil and coca cola and then went to bed.

SATURDAYYYY: This might be brief; Breakfast was like thanksgiving, Amelia won kareoke, we ran to Max's house in the pouring rain, fit 7 of us in his little beetle, drove to Noodle's and Co, were broke and didn't eat anything, got back to the con and yeah. I took a shower that morning, I guess I didn't really have to! After that, amelia and I were forced to PARTICIPATE IN THE MASQUERADE D: Umm, so with no costumes, and only "look out for the bees," as a source of inspiration, we decided to cosplay from Seinfeld. Nick12345 was Jerry and ran around screaming bees, I was Kramer, Amelia was Elaine and did the elaine dance (thanks for the wig!), and Max was Newman singing "No Handlebars". We kind of had a plan, but it went to shit the second I got back from the bathroom and Nick told me, "hey, we scrapped the plan". It was an abomination. Max and Nick ended it by singing "Macho Man" and stripping. Maggie cried......Later that night I went to the rave, met some kids from around our area, chilled out and then I don't remember anything else. All I can say is thank you amelia, max, cory, and kane, you guys are amazing.


SUNDAY: me: "UM, where am I and why do I have like 8 towels tied to me?" After that we just farted around, chilled with Geist and Les-Guest-Cosplayers-and-Fiancees-and-Photographer. TWAS FUNN

.....Long story short, T-Mode was awesome except for the part where I almost died. :P Sorry I'm retarded guys, ILUUU <3 desu. Seriously, I'm practically hemorrhaging just thinking about it.

I SO NEVER EVER want to sew such copious amounts of vinyl in complicated patterns that are ultimately supposed to fit snugly ....especially if the vinyl is retarded and doesnt stretch like it's supposed to.

In other words, I am so excited for otakon. These plugsuits should be at the least pretttyyyyy hardcore. I hope I can get little miss rei done this next week so I can make nia/kozue/lucy/amalthea/sailor mercury. Or maybe just fix up Suu.
